You may be surprised to know that linen varies considerably in quality and composition. There are linens of all weights, dye types and finishes; linen blends, organic linen, linen from different countries of origin… the list goes on.
If you’re after a sophisticated, polished linen, rather than a ‘rustic’ matte style, look no further than Aero Wash Linen.
Aero Wash linen has a flatter look than Antique Wash which has a matte appearance. It has a beautiful drape and a refined texture. The process involved in achieving this finish is physical, not chemical, which is better for us and the environment, and involves pushing the post-production linen fabric through tubes under high air pressure to soften and preshrink it.
The beautiful Aero Wash Linen we used to create our Mae and Monique tops is exquisite. It is cool, lightweight and has a subtle sheen.

The best-selling Juliette dress has been created using the same type and weight of linen as Mae and Monique.
Valentine uses a slightly heavier weight than Mae and Monique, and the Elie pants are a heavier weight again. The linen used in the Elie pants also features a twill, which is a diagonal weave pattern, giving them a polished, refined appearance, and making them suitable for more formal occasions or work. They are a super versatile wardrobe staple that can be dressed up or down.
All the linen used to create these classic styles is made from 100 percent Oeko-Tex Standard 100 European Flax yarn. It will soften and improve with age.
